This is the best form of language course fits to busy business person who has frequent business trips. The teacher, Ms.Claudia Kubiszova, goes on the fixed weekly schedule but flexibly changes the date/time of course once you have engagement on the day of the class.
She is well experienced as language teacher, works with a very good textbook, with good character, patient and with humor.

I will surely continue the class until I get well in speaking Czech launguage.

Thank you, Claudia!

I took a one week intensive course at 1to1 Czech. I already had some basic knowledge in Czech, and after this course I am able to understand the structure of this language already much better. The benefit is the teacher: Claudia is very committed, patient and motivating; explaining grammar understandable. The daily four passed straight away. Price is fair, class room fine, and hours flexible. I can highly recommend this course. Děkuji, marc

I have started studying Czech at 1 to 1 Czech 4 months ago, and I went from Czech is chinese to being able to do basic communication in czech.

I benefited from the learning with 1 to 1 Czech.

The teacher is very patient as well, very often I came to class with out having done my homework cause I was very busy, and the teacher would take it with a smile. very helpful teacher.

I have been in the Intensive Beginner course for 3 weeks with Claudia; I can say that I have learnt a lot because she uses an excellent pedagogic system to teach. Also She is patience, friendly, flexible making a nice atmosphere to learn, I really enjoyed the lessons ,I regret a lot that I could not continue it, because I am able to speak and understand a little after the course. I've been learning Czech language in a group with Claudia already for 1.5 years and that was a worthy experience.
Lessons run in a friendly atmosphere, inspiring practicing from the very beginning.
Vocabulary and grammar exercises are mixed with free speaking in right proportions.
Quick start and constant progress is how I'd describe it.
I definitely recommend Claudia services and wish you best luck learning that tricky but funny Czech language!

Czech language is comparatively complex, I think a systematic approach is very important. Claudia Kubiszova works with a very good textbook, but the extra conversation in a true one on one class (really, just you and the teacher) is what makes all the difference. While I had doubts about learning the language in the first place, Claudia always motivated me and helped toughen my resolve. She is extraordinarily patient and tolerant, which is especially important for a rather lazy student (as I am), who is usually late for lessons (as I am, too), while still managing to make my head spin, because of the progress we were making.
You should also know that it was never a problem to reschedule classes when I was traveling or unable to make it. We simply did either double lessons (which can be pretty tiring), or switched them to other days (that's probably the better solution, depending on how urgently you want to learn). This was very practical for me, and I'm sure not only those with a full schedule will appreciate it.
From now on, I will avoid classes with many students at all cost. However, the price for the lessons was extremely fair.
Definitely give it a try! Claudia doesn't charge for the first one, and I could not imagine any reason why you wouldn't want to continue with 1to1 from there.

As a foreigner who will be staying in Prague to work for one year, I considered learning some Czech as very important to communicate at work with people who are less fluent in English. Besides, learning the native language draws you closer to the people, allows you to be polite, to show effort of integration, and it gives you a further insight into the culture that is hosting you.

I have started to study Czech at 1to1Czech about one and a half months ago and - to my satisfaction and amazement - these objectives are already beginning to be met.

1to1Czech has a broad range of courses to offer, and I found particularly useful to join the beginners course taught at weekends, which not all schools offer.

The quality of teaching is very good, with a good and natural balance between conversation practice and grammar. Then new language emerges by considering real life situations in classes, and it is fixed by exercises from a book under the guidance of the teacher.

In my class we are only two students. I am paying a very affordable price which would be fare for a large class, but effectively I get almost one-to-one tuition, or even better, because I get to practice with a fellow student at my level too.

The teacher has also proven to be very flexible for changes of class time, offering even to catch up individually in case of missed classes, at no extra cost.

The atmosphere is friendly, but the learning is serious. The best reward is to be able to see that communicating in simple Czech is possible even after just a few classes.
