We have been with my girlfriend to the restaurant Ambiente Pasta Fresca, that was my 2nd visit of this restaurant and both were really great. You can see the profesionality nad clear concpet in restaurants of Ambiente group, the service is on very high level, but still very nice and friendly and don´t feel unpleasant. At the Prague food festival they presented their beef from Southern bohemia which was hit of the festival, and this is what i would really recomend to everybody to try at this restaurant. The beef steaks are awesome.

Lovely dining last Saturday with Veronia as we shared monk fish, lasagna, grilled chicken salad and yummy deserts for my birthday. The staff was awesome---polite, friendly, generous and always catered and tuned into our needs. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the underground abode and would gladly return via another BCD Travel gift certificate. ---David D Sharp

best service so far in Prague and most friendly staff(been here 13 years ) food very good yet a bit salty like most Italians in Prague. Value for money excellent.

I am fan of all Ambiente restaurants, but never went to Pasta Fresca for the simple reason that I don´t like the idea of eating pasta out. Yes, I like pasta, it´s not that. But I learned a few things about making good sauces at home - and tailored them to my tastes - so it´s rare I enjoy pasta out as much as I do at home. Plus, pasta is very inexpensive, so the thought of paying 200.- for a plate of spaghetti is, to me, inconceivable.
But on a whim a friend and I stopped in to Pasta Fresca and all that has changed. The first thing I saw when you walk in the door is a woman spreading out sheets of pasta dough and cutting it by hand. All the pasts there is hand made and super fresh. The second thing I noticed was a very cozy, elegant, attractive décor - including art pieces on the wall constructed of pasta noodles. When I asked who did the creative décor I was told the chef himself. This same chef has been working at Pasta Fresca since it opened 9 years ago.
The next thing I couldn´t help but notice was a cart with 6 different kinds of serious Italian cheeses. This ends up being served free with the meal, after the waiter lobbed off chunks and slices and served it up with our basket of delicious bread.
That would have me sorted right there - but let´s discuss the food. Friend ordered a lasagna Bolognese, and it was ok- but not as good as mine. I tried to order the “daily” lasagna which is economically priced and sounded great, but alas- they had run out. I ended up ordering foot long spaghetti with a creamy sauce and tiger shrimps - and it was so divine that we fought over it bitterly, but ended up both satisfied by the generous portion. This dish was called the Spaghetti ai gamberi and it was definitely al dente to the point of almost being crunchy - almost, but not quite - and something about the texture of this dense home made pasta has stayed on my mind ever since. Definitely recommended by this pasta mama.
