Globe Internet is the leading webhosting provider (i.e.: operator of WWW presentations on the Internet) in the Czech Republic. Our company has been offering this service since 1997. By June 1, 2003, Globe Internet had already registered and operated 15,632 domain names for nearly 9,200 clients.

Services

Services for clients are offered under the brand SERVERY.CZ , services for private users are offered under the brand HOSTING.CZ (run by Hosting CZ, s.r.o., which is a filial company in which 100% of shares are owned by Globe Internet, s.r.o.).

Webhosting services are provided within co-branded services with Seznam.CZ, a.s. under the names SWEB Profi and SWEB Ultra (in the Czech Republic), and with Zoznam, s.r.o. under the names ZWEB classic and ZWEB elegant (in the Slovak Republic).

In our portfolio of services, we offer the unrivalled cheapest model on the Czech market for shared hosting (Hosting CZ - SuperPakatel) and the most tailored model on the market (Servery.cz - Business). Globe Internet offers shared webhosting on the standard platforms Linux and Windows 2000 (.NET) with MySQL, Postgres and MS SQL2000 (.NET) databases.

Additionally, we offer shared hosting of the databases Oracle 9i and hosting on Macromedia, ColdFusion and Flash Communication Server platforms.

Webhosting Services

Globe Internet has its own technical equipment at its disposal (server room located in Prague 2, Vinohrady, in the building of GTS Telehouse) with independent connection to a replaceable node NIX.CZ (2 Gbps) and backed-up international connectivity (14 Mbps).

Webhosting on the platform Microsoft 2000 (.NET) is a part of the Microsoft Web Hoster Programme. In Novemebr 2002, Globe Internet was awarded the status of Microsoft Certified Partner. All hosting servers are based on a platform Intel Rack server and contain only brand-name components (Processor, HDD, memory). Globe Internet is an Intel´s partner for server solutions.

Client Support

Client support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via phone, fax, e-mail, ICQ and direct communication - AV Helpdesk.

At present, Globe Internet offers a wide portfolio of Internet services and is considered to be one of the most significant operators in its field.

The Globe Internet team has trebled since 1999 to more than 80 employees.
