1994 CD-Telekomunikace s.r.o. was established as a company whose mission was to build a digital telecommunication network using optical fibre
telecommunication cables and wide-band transmission technologies.

The company was briefly owned by Tiscali company (TISCALI-CDT s.r.o.)in 2001. In 2002, the company got again in the Czech hands due to the repurchase of a 100% share in the registered capital by the Czech investment companies from Tiscali company. At that moment the company entered the market with new qualitatively different telecommunication services.

It is characteristic for the services to have a high operational and technical security.

2003 By gradual increasing of registered capital in the course of that year, ÄŒD a. s. acquired the majority share in the company and thus the control over the operator of the unique wide-band network. At that time the company invested in the modern technologies to ensure IP and voice services. The company concentrates on customers who require a high quality of services and at the same time the optimal operating costs.

2003-2004 The transformation is being planned - change of the legal form into a joint stock company with the majority share of CD a. s. During this period the transmission capacity of SDH network will be increased, a new
overlapping network (SDH, DWDM) will be built and the optical network will be extended by 1000 km of cables.

CD-Telekomunikace provides telecommunication services of high and contractually guaranteed quality. The services have a wide-band character and they are meant for operators of fixed and mobile networks, Internet providers (ISP providers), decentralised companies, end users requiring wide-band connection, state administration, state organisations
and other entities.

The basic services being provided include lease of fibres,
lease of transmission capacity, lease of digital circuits, lease of international digital circuits, wide-band Internet connection, data services based on IP protocol, public voice services and a wide range of additional services (e.g. lease of technological areas in Telehouses).
