I can tell you how the Holesovice BB is now. From the outside it is a little dark and uninviting, but once seated inside you do get what you went for in good portions. The Masna one I tend not to use quite so much as you are more spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out.But I still go occassionally.Good value as always when I want to treat myself.

Okay,
this is a review for the Holesovice branch not the masna one, however most people seem to miss the link to the Holesovice one.
Last night was the first time i'd been back in about a year and after the comments that it had gone downhill i decided to write a bit of an update.
Well, the burgers were as fantastic as I remember them being and the service was very friendly, prompt and attentive when required.
All in all i'm defintely not going to leave it so long again.
I still think their chips aren't half as good as they were about 1.5/2 years ago but with the burgers as good as ever and friendly service i have to recommend people take a visit.

Having used the Masna Bagel for many years now i will be moving next week to Holesovice. I am wondering what will lie in store there having read and heard different things about the staff there. I can say that the Mana staff have been good and the menu excellent. I'm loving the FISH 'N' CHIPS, well i am English. But everything i have tried has satisfied.I look forward to seeing how Holesovice compares.

Okay so the salads are a bit unimaginative and the lunch specials can vary in quality but one thing I always liked about Holesovice was the fast efficient service. Their Ginger tea also rocks. And the cookies (if fresh) are excellent.
However Holesovice seemed to have changed hands and the fast efficient pleasant staff who have been there for years, seem to have been replaced with an army of gormless muppets.
The last three times I've been there their appaulling service has made me late for work to the extent that I can no longer visit the place.
I'd certainly want to know why my establishment was losing business if I were them. So I have written to them. Lets see what happens.
I really hope the other staff are just on holiday...

Disappointed with the beef Bohemia burger. The meat smelled a little off and I could not eat it beyond a point. The chef also seemed to have forgotten salt.Service was not bad. Would not go in there for the food though.

Sunday brunch with the wife and kids... who love the place
Four meals ordered
Two were promptly served and quite tasty.
One meal, a bar-B-Que chicken bagel sandwich, took 27minutes to serve. It tasted nice, but, still a little upsetting when all others at the table had already finished eating before it arrived.
French fries served cold, very cold, as if they were waiting under the food lamps for the 27minutes
65kc for a tiny, tiny quiche is a bit rich for me, so I chose the tomato creame soup, it was warm, not hot, and a little bland...but to be fair, when my kids tried it, they liked it
So maybe I am being a little harsh, my kids loved their food...but you know what? They love Mcdonalds food as well
Bohemia bagels
fast food, nothing more, nothing less

I used to be a regular at the Masna BB, then I moved and switched to the one at Ujezd (too bad they had to close there!). Their homemade soups were extremely yummy/ there were always two to choose from, served with a toasted bagel of your choice - although they offer much more than just soups, I always ended up ordering one.
I recently visited BB in Holesovice and was pleasantly surprised! The place is more elegant and modern than Masna and the non-smoker part was actually smoke free. The tomato soup was tasty, with some melted slices of mozzarella and lovely hints of basil. The ginger tea was a glass simply stuffed with loads and loads of ginger, served with honey... Never had a better one in my life.
Bohemia Bagel is a truly expat place and you can always be sure to meet lots of expats there. One thing I love most about BB is the music they play.
All in all, keep up the good job!

Attended the location near the Charles Bridge (off Malonstranske Namesti).
Mrs. and I both opted for the "Charles IV" plate to sample the fullest range of available fare in one sitting.
We received a full plate containing fried eggs, sausage patties, bacon and 2 pancakes.
Bacon was thicker and meatier than one would find in North America - next closest would be the stuff you get in the UK. The sausage patties were the only disappoinment as we both found them rather bland. The eggs, though not aesthetically pleasing were acceptable. Finally, the 2 large pancakes with their maple syrup accompaniment were everything we could have hoped for - fluffy and flavourful.
For beverages, both of had a fresh squeezed orange juice (good) and the bottomless "American" coffee. We both thought the coffee was brewed just a tad weaker than you might find in the average diner in North America but the flavour was certainly authentic. And yes, the re-fills were prompt and non-stop.
Service was reasonably efficient despite there being only one waitress. She was diner friendly and asked us several times how we were enjoying our meals.
'Look forward to taking friends.
