Since 2003 The School of Little Tree has been providing high quality childcare in a safe and loving environment for small groups of children ages 1.5 to 6 years. Our program allows children to learn and grow at their pace by providing them with activities that are both interesting and challenging. Each child is very special, with a unique personality and individual needs. We are prepared to adapt our program according to the individual, specific needs of your child. We have specialists to help children with special needs (psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, and other needs). Our curriculum includes music using the Orff method, dancing, arts and crafts, drama, and language education from native English and Czech teachers. We consider the interests of children and design a program that satisfies their natural curiosity and need to learn about their world. We strive to help children become independent and self-confident through structured activities and loving interaction with our teachers. Time is allowed for independent, free choice work, as well as group activities. We provide care for a variety of families and cultures. We feel that multicultural interaction is valuable to children.  We are here for children whose parents realize that appropriate education from the earliest age is the best gift a child can get.
Activities are planned to meet the social, cognitive and physical needs of the children in our care. Our curriculum allows teachers as well as children to be creative and flexible and includes:Music and movement (Singing, dancing, playing instruments, Orff method)Arts and crafts (Painting, drawing, modeling, origami, natural materials, special techniques)Drama (non-verbal, experience based activities, dramatizing)Language education (lessons through activities, play, and songs in native spoken English and Czech)We will support children's positive attitude towards nature through activities like "gardening" and other school programs taking place in the school garden and terrace or in the nearby park.
