"Too much for nothing"

I come from Greece.I just stayed in Prague for 2 months and i saw world class gym on this site. The price for 1 month was 120 euros, which is twice the price of any gym back in my country, even the best ones. The facilities are just ok,nothing special. The staff is nice but i could not find a trainer. All in all, it is just a decent gym, but they probably ask too much for what they offer in return

They have issues like bad quality towels and shortage of towels at times.
TVs dont work for past few weeks.
as a gym, its decent with good equipment.
staff needs a bit more training.

First of all the machines.... they have by far the best machines in Prague, and I've been to enough gyms already. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great trainers.
No complains.... I like the gym so much i go 5-6 times a week.

I recommend it!!!

Very upset for their discriminatory policy of adding "additional service"=joining fee=2000 CZK that includes 1 "free" master class, 8 "free" 1 day guest passes and 1 "free" pass to Chodov...
So that means if I even have never been in Chodov- I am supposed to go there, just because I want to attend fitness club located next to my office....
I just don't understand under what rights they make me obliged to purchase their "free" service if I just want to purchase a membership.
I believe this is another way of pickpoketing the customers....
yes, the staff is well trained and place is clean, but the way how the administration treats the customers is really ugly...
"Decent gym"

I've been to two of these gyms. The one in the marriott and the one in Vaclavske namesti. The one in the Marriott was nice, but a kind of small... not to mention INSAINELY priced. It was the highest priced gym I visited in Prague. Plus it didnt have a good selection of machines and free weights. I wouldnt recommend it for those who train seriously or for those on a budget.

The Vaclavske Namesti gym was much better. It had a good selection of weights, machines, and cardio equipment on a number of floors. And it's quite a bit cheaper than the Marriott gym. Though I think it can get quite packed during peak hours.

The one thing I really didnt like about these gyms is that you had to put on shoe covers before you came in and then change your shoes before you could work out, even if you came in athletic shoes. World Class isnt the best you can do when it comes to gyms in Prague, but if you live in the center then it might be worth taking a look at.

After testing the gym in the hilton, in hotel intercontinental and the holmes in Novy Smichov, I found the "World Class fitness", because they opened a new gym in Chodov/V Parku (Where I am working).
But I didn't wanna go directly to the gym after work, but found out that they have a perfect location at Vaclavske namesti. Four floors - one for the dance hall, one for the Schwarzeneggers, one for the cardios (cycle, running) and one for the Wannabe-Schwarzeneggers ;-)
Staff is qualified and is speaking english, equipment is "Life Fitness" and "Hammer Strength", which mean it is good.
If you are member of one of the big companies in Prague, ask for special prices.
I don't know, how long I will stay in Prague, so I have monthly memberships, 2000.- CzK each.
"Clean & friendly"

I've been visiting Worldclass fitness for over a year now, the facilities remain clean and the staff always friendly. It's popularity has meant that I have to wait a little longer for the treadmills. I reccommend visiting after 7pm.
