PRO:
Courses are often and different time frames
opening hours are flexible
locker rooms are clean despite the open showers and the locals taking showers without slippers.
CONS:
there are only 3 bathrooms for so many ladies: 2 in the locker rooms and one upstairs. really too little when a course is about to start
the water sold is terribly overpriced
some trainers are good, some others are terrible and with an attitude. Staff's english is poor and the outfits of the receptionist shouldn't be mentioned.
the contract is ONLY in czech and you can't have a version in English
agreements are for 12 months, after 9 months you get a letter in czech telling that if you would like to close your contract you should do it right away.
if you pay by bank transfer, is possible you might need to go back and forth a couple of times as my experience is that I had to go back 3 times with the payments as they couldn't find it: of course, this meant that I wasn't allowed in the gym EVEN with a proof of payment as my online bank to verify the payment and that I had to go back home at 6.15 AM as I couldn't get to spinning class.
last but not least: you will get a chip when signing up the contract. without that one, you aren't allowed in the gym. even if you go there every day for years, even if you leave them a document, even if you pay to rent another chip: according to them, that's your identification and you must have it.
- machines: Panatta sport, many not in full working order
- clean enough, but always room for improvement
- running room with wide screen could be a great value, movies are always in Czech with Czech subtitles... at least the subtitles could be in English
Overall, is a good gym. but would be better in a country that pays more attention to the customers. no matter how much BBC tries to be high classl, it doesn't match the most common Fitness First in the UK.

It is utterly impossible to get on any of the machines on weekends or on weekdays from 17 to 21hr. Too damn crowded, and there is no 1hr time limit on the machinery. So, if a true athlete wants to spend two hours running on a treadmill...you wait! Also, their upstairs showers are not heated, their locker rooms are very small and lockers are too small for hold a business suit. They offer no hours at 5 or 6am, so it is impossible to work out before work. I sometimes work in Praha 8, but I am not allowed to use that location, even if it is the same company. Worst of all, their employees smoke in the reception, and you get a blast of that each time you enter and exit. I will give them a couple of points for being clean and having a good little pool (the Nusle location), but then they make you take your shoes off and walk through the complex in your socks, when you enter the building. I will not be renewing my membership here again.

I have a slightly more positive experience from the BBC Gym, at least the one on Vinohradska. The facilities were great, clean, AC, and spacious (and I'm used to pretty high Swedish standards), the service was as good as any. It wouldn't hurt if the girls at the front desk improved their English, but then again, my Czech isn't that good either. At least they tried to help in any way they could. They really appreciate if you try a few Czech phrases...
What did annoy me though was the fact that when I wanted to pay for an additional month in mid May, they told me I could only prolongue the membership for another 12 months. Didn't seem too customer oriented to me... Anyway, I definitely recommend BBC Gym on Vinohradska. Oh, I almost forgot! They also have an amazing solarium with Aroma Therapy. Amazing!

I had a possibility to come to BBC Fitness many times, I signed the contract for 1 year. There is no option to come only once. Service is really awful. Inside is very hot and stinky, no air condition. At the end they didn´t let me in, because my profile in their system wasn't active, when I paid regularly.
Unfortunately I haven´t got good opinion about this place...
