Sarah was there for me at the perfect time. Coming back from a double Hernia Operation as well carrying a Rotator Cuff Injury from years of Elite Sport I was physically and mentally in a tough place. And at 41 years of age I knew that I had to approach rehabilitation carefully and without the do-it-yourself approach I have done previously without too much thought.
I contacted Sarah for personal training in a hope to give myself a better shot of getting the few more years of competitive sport I knew I had left however with my personal life and business travel commitments I knew it could be a tough project.
From the start she really impressed me with her resourceful approach to training considering my post-surgery condition, giving me full understanding along the way of the reasons for the training plans & expected outcome as well importantly resetting my otherwise aggressive goals of being back to full-fitness in only a few weeks. She always tempered my frustration with a care and understanding you don’t always get yet should expect with Personal Training.
Only 4 months on now, Sarah has, through her professional advice in our 1:1s & detailed training plans now seen me complete my first competitive sporting event since surgery as well present me with a completely new outlook on how I can get the most of the years in front of me through training with intelligence. Sarah has been working with groups of 17-18 year olds at the school I work at. She is highly professional and has a fantastic rapport with the students. She has worked with a wide range of individuals who have a variety of fitness needs. Sarah has been able to motivate and advise the students, and her commitment and enthusiasm has led to many of them improving their levels of personal fitness. She is a great role model all... particularly the girls to which she has instilled the mantra of 'strong not skinny'!
