Credo is a terrific blend of modern, artsy interiors, traditional food and inventive cuisine. The chicken mango salad is quite the treat, and fairly large for the price. The make a maple milkshake that's very interesting. If you like ordering something off a menu you've not tried before there are several pleasant surprises in store.

The daily specials are very reasonably priced; you can eat for under 100.- if you choose carefully. The Grilled fresh mackerel served with potato-basil puree costs only 80.- and so does the lasagna. The salads range from well-prepared classics to some refreshingly inventive ones, like the mixed vegetable salad with marinated turkey and pear, topped with curry dressing.

It's the kind of place you can suggest for a small group lunch and know that your older Czech boss will be as pleases as the new recruits from Europe or North America. A little something for everyone.
