The Bank Card Association is an interest group of juristic persons - banks and other bodies which promote the expansion of payment cards in the Czech Republic and co-ordinate the related activities. On behalf of its members, the Associations conducts negotiations with both Czech and international payment card organisations. The Bank Card Association was registered on 14.9. 1992 with the Municipal Office of Prague 1 (Obvodní úrad Praha 1), complying with § 20i, Article 2 of Regulation No 47/92 Sb., Ref. No 22/92.
