I visited this place with some out-of-country relatives visiting Prague. Our visit started pleasantly enough, with a nice seat by the river with a view of the bridge, and some beer. We ordered food, which was seriously overpriced, but I thought that with the nice view, it would be OK if the food was good. One of our companions felt hot in the sun, which our umbrella didn't eliminate at that time of the late afternoon, so she asked if we could move to a different table. The headwaiter then heaped loads of abuse on her, what was she thinking, of course not, and capped it off with this amazing statement: "If we granted every customer's wish, where would we be?" At a restaurant I suppose, I thought to myself. Finally we were "allowed" to sit at a different table. The food that arrived was mediocre at best. You can get much better food at many pubs for around 100 CZK, for the 345 CZK per-meal price they charged, it was ludicrous! And no credit cards taken - what if we had no cash?

In short, avoid this place like the plague!! If you must visit it for the sake of the view, have one overpriced beer and then leave!!!
