Psychological counseling / psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families that have relocated to Prague.    

Camilla Dessing, Lic, MScPsych, is a registered and fully qualified psychologist in private practice located in Prague 2. She has successful experience with personal issues including depression, anxiety (excessive nervousness), relationship issues, panic disorder, social phobia, grief, addiction, sexual abuse, self-esteem issues (lack of confidence), postpartum depression and concerns related to relocation and re-entry (returning to home country) with both adults and children. Besides the use of traditional talking therapy, techniques employed may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, relaxation exercises, meditation, and art therapy if desired and relevant. Ms Dessing is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Danish Psychologists' Association (DPA). In addition, Ms Dessing is also a certified health, nutrition and exercise consultant and can in combination with psychological counseling provide nutritional and exercise advice if desired.

Fees 2012:
Individual session (50 min): 800 CZK.
Student fee (50 min): 700 CZK.
Couple's therapy (60 min): 1000 CZK.
Intensive couple's therapy (90 minutes): 1400 CZK.

Sessions take place within a comfortable, elegant and discreet setting.

Languages spoken: English, Spanish or Danish.
