ÚRS Praha, a.s. was established as an successor of Institute of Rationalization in the Construction Industry in 1992. It has become a medium size company with flexible management´s reactions towards the market needs after it passed an extensive process of restructure. Registered office of the Firm is located in Prague, having branches in Brno, Hradec Králové, and Ostrava. Primary activities of the Firm include complex services in the area of pricing of the construction production. The same significance insists on activities for the state authorities, regarding the analyses of the development and prognoses in the construction industry, regional development and housing problems.
Currently, ÚRS Praha, a.s. expands with its activities abroad. It is a member of several international non-government associations (EUROCONSTRUCT, EDIBUILD, ICIS, and other), which are engaged in monitoring of the condition and trends in European and world-wide building industry. The Company is registered as a consulting firm in the PHARE Program in Brussels. It prepares data for FIEC on behalf of the Czech Republic. It obtained the Certificate of the Quality Control System CSN EN ISO 9001 for engineering and consultation activities in the construction industry as well as for development and delivery of SW and the database. The rating assessment is being performed in the Firm regularly (Baa/czA czP-1).
