The task of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry AS CR is to pursue basic, target-oriented, and applied research in chemistry and physics of polymers. The research comprises the four main areas: molecular and supramolecular polymer systems, biologically active polymers, functional polymers, polymer materials. An important part of the Institute activity is the Ph.D. program in polymer science carried out in cooperation with universities, postdoctoral program as well as teaching and practical laboratory training of undergraduate students, in particular within the framework of a newly established.
