Located in downtown Prague, Palace Slovanský dům has quickly earned its reputation as the home for not only commercial films but as a host for film events and premieres. Palace Slovanský dům has 10 screens and 1,839 seats in an interesting layout built within a historical landmark of the city. We introduced this year the Palace Art concept to promote smaller films to a wider audience. Palace Cinemas has located the only Texas Instruments Digital Light Projector (DLP) CinemaTM at Palace Slovansky Dum. It has already witnessed the premiere of the first digital film in the Czech Republic and several musical performances, both live and taped, for alternative forms of entertainment. Palace Cinemas is undertaking a major revision of the site to bring the best offers for our customers. We have introduced a new Cinema Bar on the top level concessions area. We also will introduce a new café with magazines and DVDs for sale on the bottom floor. More changes are expected soon.
