The First International Ballet School in Prague has successfully completed its first year of activities at the studios of the National Theatre Ballet. The school year of 2010/2011 culminated with a recital by the ballet students at the Kolowrat Theatre on June 25.2011.
We are pleased to inform you that The First International Ballet School in Prague is moving to a new location beginning in the next school year 2011/2012. Classes will begin in September 2011 at the following new address in the Old Town: 4, Liliova Street, Prague1.
By doing so, the school will maximize its possibility to offer a broader range of activities and satisfy the growing interest of students and clients. The other positive change will be more divisions to accomodate the youngest students according to age as well as levels of dance capability, beginners and advanced.
We are also introducing classes in classical dance for adults at both levels (beginners – advanced.)
Eventhough the primary emphasis is on classical ballet we decided to start reguler classes in modern dance under the guidance of professional artists, thus enriching the scale of dance education.
Our program will be expanded by weekend workshops with outstanding Czech as well as foreign pedagogues.
Added to the ranks of our teachers will be the principal dancer of the National Theatre Ballet, Zuzana Susová, as well as other exellent dancers and soloists..
During our first year we became partners in education with ISP-(International School of Prague), with whom we will continue to closely collaborate.
We believe that the curriculum we have to offer will address your attention and satisfy the requirements of even the most demanding students and clients.
We are looking forward to seeing you in the next school year!
