The International Business Forum (‘the IBF’) was formed in August, 2008, when the British Business Forum and the Expat Business Association merged their two already very established organizations.

The IBF follows the values of its predecessors by providing a vehicle for senior managers and directors of international companies to meet and work with like-minded people with the aim of looking for business opportunities, offering the opportunity to meet at high-level networking events and seminars, and promoting best business practice in all that it does. The association has several working sub-groups, including ‘Women in Business’ ‘Marketing Interest’ ‘Mentoring’ 'Real Estate' and 'Best Business Practices' which function to provide information tailored to the various interests of its more than 100 members.
The board of directors of the association comprises of Daniel Hron (Mid Europe Management), Jan Grozdanovič (JGA Legal), Jo Weaver (JWA Prague), Jonathan Hallett (Cushman & Wakefield), Monika Franková (Česká Spořitelna – Expat Center), Lenka Tucková (Avestus Real Estate), Gerald Cary-Elwes (European Renaissance)
