I wonder if we are talking about the same Company.
I have rented Cars by Royal Rent for years, and have always had very good service, the Cars have always been in very good shape, have rented with short notice and for decent prices - so I cannot recognize your review at all.

Apparently, the online reservation only grants you the ability to show up and ask for a car... It does not check availability, reserve a car, or guarantee anything... (come on guys, databases have been around for decades...) This smells suspiciously like the old bait and switch tactic...


Recommendation: Do not use this company...
