Rented a car in July and upon return a scratch on the door was noted. I don't know whether or not I was responsible but since it had not been noted before I was stuck. Real problem though was that the manager Joseph Drbohlav informed me that he would get an estimate of the damage and discuss it with me prior to submitting the claim. Six weeks later I see my credit card has been charged yet I never had heard from Mr. Drbohlav.

At that point I visited Budget in person and asked for Mr Drbohlav to contact me. Another six weeks and I have yet to hear from him.

The major problem this caused was the fact that due to the delay in my being informed that the damage would be charged to me placed me outside the window in which I could make a claim to VISA for insurance reimbursement.

Sometimes you have the unmistakeable feeling that locals just simply enjoy taking advantage of tourists or in my case an ex-pat resident.

No more Budget for me.............

Josef the Manager of the Budget at the Intercontinental is fantastic to deal with. The rest of the staff need some work on their people skills.
The cars are always in great shape and the rates although expensive are worth the security of dealing with an International Company.
