In the spring of 1989, Michal Kocourek surrounded himself with a team of partners with whose help the idea was born of a theater that combined black light theater, as a traditional Czech theater form, with elements of musical performance, dance and mainly pantomime.

Thus is created a one of a kind synthetic theater. The company, however, was met with continuing problems of a bureaucratic character which essentially halted further development. All changed over the course of November 1989 when the change in the political system and the fall of the bureaucratic barriers allowed for the immediate revival of work on the first production and successfully complete the previous half year's efforts. The final version of the production, music and scenery are being prepared. In April 1990 the company is prepared for the premiere of its first performance of Sny - Dreams. The premiere took place on the 10th of May 1990 in the Klicperovo theater in Prague and the production was received by a very positive response from audiences and the press. The increase in popularity of the company occurred over the course of September to December 1990 when the company performed in the Prague theater Albatros. The response of the public and the interest of audiences was so large that the company performed 130 performances in those three months. ACT became one of the small Czech theaters that survives without subsidy. In this year the All Colours Theater production was also introduced to audiences in Yugoslavia, Austria and Germany. In 1993 the colorful theater ACT found its new arena in a hall in Rytířska street. In the same year it also began working on a new premiere of the production of Magical Universe. The creative team was comprised of the producer, Michal Kocourek, director, Ivan Holeček, set designer, Daniel Šedivák, choreographer, Jiřina Kottová, musical composer and musical pedagogue, Jiří Doubek, and the publicist and lyricist, Pavel Kácha.
