The only good mechanic I knew worked at Bike Expert but the shop at Karlovo namesti closed a couple months ago.

Hot Dog bike service is located close to Namesti Republiky and close to my home place so I was giving it a try. The shop opened just recently and is located in the same building as City Bike rentals. A kind of advertisement outside at the building is still missing - a small sign "Hot Dog" indicates you are right (but no food is sold !)...
Anyway - I left my bike for service there. The shop owner and mechanic Spencer has done a great job for a reasonable price. I had always problems with my hydraulic brakes (especially when it comes to bleeding etc.) and they are perfect now. He was sending a message when the bike was ready. Overall I just can recommend it-my best experience in Prague so far.
