Lovecká chata (Hunting Lodge) is found in a tranquil place in the centre of the mountain town about 40m from the access road behind the River Úpa across which spans a small bridge to its own car park.  

It has ideal access to all activities in Pec and the environs. A hut of a mountain farmer stood in this place as far back as the 18th century, which was rebuilt in about 1900 by the local carpenter Mr. Josef Steiner, thereby acquiring its external and partly also its interior appearance. In 1986 it was duly purchased by the present owners who carefully repaired and restored it to its present state to preserve its original atmosphere and appearance as much as possible. They succeeded and the lodge, together with its original atmosphere, acquired all the modern requirements necessary for a comfortable sojourn. The original timbered rooms on the ground floor have been preserved as well as the period furniture, the decoration and a working tiled stove. Its heat is inimitably pleasant and there is always something scented being dried on top, which, together with the heat, pervades the entire lodge. These rooms are used as a restaurant, living room, a room with all its conveniences and kitchen.
