There is a new branch of GE Money Bank just opened on Narodni trida (next to Tesco).

This is a rather different kind of bank: no sulky faces from grumpy bank staff working from behind a high counter. Instead, the staff here are young and welcoming - you sit with them at tables, and they explain everything.

The leaflets and website are all in English if you need that - and most staff speak fluent English too.

Interest rates are good, and services better than elsewhere as far as I can tell.

They have some pretty good deals on at the moment - including some "specials" for the opening few weeks. Highly recommended.
