"Cumin Free Heaven"

Bakeshop's so far been the sole refuge for foreigners wanting cumin free bread and a proper crust (along with some of Delvita's stuff). Then somebody told me about Mansson, and the result was a mix of delight and frustration: Delighted because the bread is as good as any Scandinavian / German bread, and jolly frustrated since it'd taken me two-three years before I found this place.
"Sunday morning"

There are few places around Prague that you may find open on a Sunday morning, particularly around 8. Tourists are still asleep, stag parties trashed, and the streets deserted. But somehow I find myself before the glass window of Bakery Mannson.

I sat down outside and was greeted by friendly waitstaff. The breakfast plate was fantastic. 99 Kc for coffee (or tea), 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of rye-grain bread, and a bagel. With the sun breaking through the clouds and the cool river breeze sweeping the alleys, I don't think breakfast gets any better than this.

Try it out, it's just around the corner from Intercontential Hotel Praha.
