Unless you want to have your money stolen, be told that you can get a job, when in fact you can't, be treated rudely, and over-charged for housing....only then would ITC be a good school for you.

I just finished ITC's TEFL course and I really can't praise it enough. I had a very good experience there, our teacher was quite knowledgeable and engaging, and I ended up learning quite a bit even though I had some prior teaching experience. I can't speak for any of the other certification courses in Prague, but I can definitely recommend ITC if you want to teach in Prague or elsewhere!

In August 2008 I was a trainee in ITC's TEFL certificate course, and the experience was entirely positive. The trainers were experts in the field, and willing to share their knowledge and expertise with us. The school has an appropriate atmosphere that encourages trainees to develop and progress as teachers of the English language.
In addition, there was a strong sense of community and solidarity among peers, and everyone was supportive of the work we were engaged in. Everyone who completed the course improved immensely and gained the know-how necessary in teaching EFL.
Now that I've embarked on a career as an English teacher, I highly recommend ITC's TEFL course as a wonderful and suitable means of beginning or furthering an invaluable profession.
