I went to the Thrift Store and was quite taken aback by the amount of goodies inside! The owners are delightfully friendly, enthusiastic and helpful enough to just want to go to the shop to say hi (which they did tell me I should do)
The shop is full of gift ideas, essential items, handy appliances, retro and modern sunglasses, clothes, shoes, scarves, bags... you name it. I fully recommend the Thrift Store whether you are new in town looking for those everyday items or just looking to browse because I doubt you'd leave empty handed. 5*'s for this shop :-)

I had the pleasure of meeting Tamas and Barbara today, they came to my home and picked up the leavings from a clothing swap, then we drove to nadace where 5 large bags of clothing were donated, and finally to the store, which is a treasure trove of the sort we are used to finding in in North America. I could spend hours poking about through all the goodies they have, from quality clothing to English books to porcelain to baby stuff and so much more!

I really appreciate having this great shop in Prague, and I wish them continued success!

This is EXACTLY the kind of store Prague needed. Why did it take so long?

Just about anything you want, except food, can be found here. Home furnishings, books, CDs, electronics, clothing and accessories, decorations, toys, DVDs, and more are yours for the choosing in this gem of a store. The owners are very friendly and helpful, making this store an even greater place to shop!

Went there this afternoon to check it out: simply great! Cool clothes, nice selection of books in several languages, household equipment at friendly prices. Helpful staff + a possibility to have stuff picked up at your house in case you can't bring it over yourself! Am adding the website into my favourites, it will now be much easier for me to sort my stuff and equipment, as there is a place where they can take care of it and also use the profit for a good cause.

First,.. this store has an amazing selection of clothes. I found a gorgeous leather jacket, (unfortunately only 1 in my size) and very trendy t's. I don't think they have been open long enough to be picked over. Too many books for me to carry home. Didn't get to see the furniture, they said they are still unpacking, (but invited me in anyway) but them seem to carry everything you can imagine, this store looks very promising !

They speak english, (most of the descriptions are written in english) and they are very friendly !! I am definitely going back when they get sorted out,

Tucked away just between Namesti Miru and Jiriho z Podebrad, Prague Thrift Store might be one of the best kept secrets in the city. They have a surprisingly diverse selection of high-quality secondhand items from power tools and electronics to furniture and clothes. It's a great place because the prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and as most of the items tend to come from relocating expatriate families you can find some barely used items for cheap.

I needed a good skateboard for 8yr old son but didn't want to spend a lot for it at a skateshop. On a whim, I stopped by to have a look. They had 3 skateboards, one that was practically new, with a nice light deck and good trucks. Walked home happy with a quality board under my arm for less than half the price of a new one! I highly recommend them. If you need something for the house etc, stop in and have a look. They'll probably have what you're looking for and you'll save some serious CZK.

The Prague Thrift shop sells affordable & cheap things with great quality. I got a big study table for as little as 150 CZK. Knowing that I wont be in Prague for long, this was very helpful for me because the desk was super cheap.
Go ahead, check out the shop, so can find most things you need.
