Chateau Mcely is one of the most exclusive venues in Central Europe for relaxation weekends, weddings, conferences, corporate events and training. It was recreated from the ground up with careful consideration of the demanding requirements of senior executives and the most discerning travellers. Chateau Mcely is the former rural manor of the Thurn-Taxis aristocratic family, which is today a member of Small Luxry Hotels of the World. Our bedrooms, chic salons, restaurant, and Alchymist Club are as unique as the Chateau itself. We have 23 individual rooms and suites, each with its own style and name, and with meticulous attention to detail and design. Whether it is the Legend Honeymoon Suite or our cosy October Room, it’s like staying in 23 different hotels – you’ll want to return time and again to sample them all! Each of our rooms and suites open with wonder-filled light and beauty to the surrounding English Park. Each is equipped with plasma TV, DVD, wi-fi internet, and its own uniquely styled bath.

Mcely Spa
Mcely Spa was created gradually over a period of six years within the sensitive reconstruction of the chateau and its adjacent English park. Its uniqueness consists of the interconnection of interior and exterior spaces such that the entire chateau complex actually becomes a spa. Spacious, creatively-designed, private, therapeutic suites named Honey, Silk and Pearls offer a relaxing and inspiring environment for an exceptional spa experience. You can enjoy your spa therapy in either the chateau, on the highest floor of the tower, or in the chateau’s park near the natural swimming lake. All three suites are adapted so that couples can have their therapies together. At the Spa Reception you will find a relaxation zone where you can calmly sip delicious herbal tea and a boutique where you can purchase items from the Mcely Spa collection and cosmetic Mcely Bouquet. The English park also includes an outdoor Jacuzzi, a small sauna building, natural swimming lake; multifunctional sports ground and a specially-designed natural course for cardiovascular and muscular fitness.

Piano Nobile Restaurant
Restaurant Piano Nobile is opened seven days a week with a unique à la carte menu for hotel guests and also for the public.

Our chef likes to create various types of delicacies that are based solely on quality raw materials in such a way that we are able to help you achieve balance in your body and spirit. Our cuisine is inspired by the spellbinding environment of Chateau Mcely and the Nine Flowers of the St. George Forest, and so when chef is putting together our menu, he base his work on the traditions of Thurn-Taxis’s, former owners of the Chateau, and he also finds inspiration in Grandmother Cusumano’s recipes. Our presented dishes are of course prepared according to today’s modern style – thus in light form.
