The quintessence of Prague’s character, history and beauty - Augustine Hotel Prague has been created from a development of seven buildings, the largest and most important of which is a functioning 13th Century Augustinian St. Thomas Monastery, after which the hotel is named. It’s 101 rooms and suites as well as it’s extensive meeting spaces combine aspects of a monastic theme with a range of decorative accessories inspired by the early 20th century Czech cubism. The restaurant focuses on a European Brasserie style menu created by Executive Chef Miroslav Grusz, who only selects locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients to serve to our guests. It is firmly establishing itself with the local residents as one of the places to dine for either lunch or dinner. Lichfield Restaurant, Café & Bar is proud to be home to the only permanent exhibition of Lord Patrick Lichfield’s work outside of Lichfield Studios in London, with more than 80 of his original works on display.

Once the Monastery’s refectory, is an elegant and relaxed bar open all day and during the warmer months has a stunning outside seating area in the cloister arcades. Try our signature ‘angel’ cocktails – amazing!
Lichfield Restaurant, Café & Bar is proud to be home to the only permanent exhibition of Lord Patrick Lichfield’s work outside of Lichfield Studios in London, with more than 80 of his original works on display.

Our famous and historic cellar bar is now housed in the old monastery brewery, where, by the royal order of Charles IV, the Augustinian friars brewed the St. Thomas beer since 1352 until 1952. Brewery Bar now exclusively offers the famous St. Thomas beer once again, you can also buy a beer from 36 CZK, we specialises in Bohemian style tapas which is available daily.

As a place to retreat from the worries and cares of everyday life, Augustine Spa offers a range of massage, beauty and body treatments as well as a private gym. Spa visitors can join experts in meditation, Yoga, Tai-Chi and Pilates in the serene inner-cloisters and gardens of the complex.
