Vacancy description




This specific role entails working with local hosting location teams to deploy vulnerability scanning devices across Accenture global data centers and to configure those devices in QualysGuard to perform vulnerability scans.

 

This work stream seeks to achieve the following:




  • Deployment of QualysGuard for vulnerability scanning to address gaps in current vulnerability scanning service which include; hosting exceptions, currently only addressing high vulnerabilities, not covering large network segments



  • Deploying of scanners to support the QualysGuard solution in any data center or geographic service locations to support full coverage for Accenture's servers and network devices, including the configuration of scans on each device



  • Work with local teams to document and understand network topology, segments, VLANs, assets, etc. to determine architecture and configuration for scanning devices



  • Implementation of integration to change management processes to include updates that need to be made to scanning devices when network changes are made for VLANs



  • Configuration of uncredentialed and credential-based vulnerability scans for all network segments



  • Transition of vulnerability scanning operations to the SOC.


  • Project duration: 1 year (limited contract)





Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the profession





  • Vulnerability management (deployment and management) - proficient: extensive vulnerability scanning deployment and scanning experience







  • Experience with deployment of QualysGuard or other vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Foundstone, MDM, etc.).







  • Network experience: proficiency in network, switches and firewalls is a strong plus






  • Experience deploying large scale, global technical infrastructure solutions. Strong coordination experience





  • Experience using MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools





  • Schedule flexibility is important since the project team will have to accommodate global schedules






  • Good communications skills







  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
