Currently we are looking for candidates for Software application positions for our international project. This position may require travel for on-site training abroad.

Job responsibilities:

-                Provide application support for non-standard software applications

-                Communicate with end users in the respective country to clarify problems with applications and resolve them

-                Escalate to offshore programmers in case of complex application problems

-                If parts of the source codes are in local language translating them into English

-                Facilitate communication between offshore programmers and end users

-                Provide translation of documentation in local language to English for internal purpose only

-                Management of content of technical knowledge databases and “How to” queries

-                Reporting on local country data on Incidents, Problems, Service requests etc.

Our requirements:

-                English on an advanced level

-                Good communication skills in one of these languages:  German, Spanish, Portuguese or  Dutch

-                Technical education (Computer science, Electro engineering) or previous experience in the relevant field of 3 years minimum

-                Knowledge / previous exposure  of  JAVA or .NET  technologies (main technologies for all applications)

-                Basic understanding of database concepts (such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL) is beneficial

-                Ability to work in international team and good communication skills

-                Willingness to travel for training to the country according to language specification for 3 – 6 months
