In behalf of our partner, we are seeking for an innovative Senior Software Engineer who has very strong Java and/or C#/.Net development experience.

Functions:

Should be an extremely good self-starter with ability to execute extremely complex projects with ambiguous requirements.

Architect, Design, Code and Test high performance high availability search applications. Strong unit testing experience with constantly being challenged to raise the development standard.

Work with the support engineers and other support personnel to diagnose and resolve client issues.

Support an aggressive monthly release cycle by actively working on and supporting release day activities.

Actively work on developing monitoring, debugging and unit testing tools that greatly aids in improving the quality, maintainability and reliability of our flagship enterprise search services.

Continually improve development, deployment, support and management standards and practices.

 

Requirements:

• Very strong primary working knowledge of Java and/or C# (.Net 3.5 or higher)

• Knowledge of data structures and search index technologies (e.g., Lucene)

• Solid understanding and experience building multithreaded applications on both Linux and 

  Windows platforms

• Knowledge of concept extraction and matching technologies is a strong plus

• Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL

• Server and MySQL with particular emphasis on creating/debugging stored procedures and 

  complex query statements using both T-SQL and MySQL dialects

• Solid understanding of web services, REST, XML, XSLT and other related technologies

• Knowledge and understanding of Source Control Management (SCM) technologies like

• Perforce and/or Subversion• Scalability, performance tuning and profiling experience is a

  must

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills• Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing

  Technologies

• Experience working in a globally distributed development group
