Summary

The SAP - ABAP Programmer Junior works within SAP Centre of Competence. He/she is familiar with working in a support organization operations and is competent in ABAP/4 programming. He/she has an understanding of developing new programs and/or implementing changes to current programs according to the functional and technical requirements or other needs. He/she understands the end-to-end process of the data transfer from/to SAP. He/she keeps the SAP documentation up to date and is responsible for the code quality and code optimization.

                                                                                                                                         

Responsibilities                                                                                                                

• Responsibility for all operational analysis and development aspects


• Responsibility for completeness of technical design documentation, Operational and Error handling manuals


• Evaluates incidents, problems and changes requests and advice on the requirements, resolution and required effort. Updates service calls, problem and change tickets with relevant information and status changes.


• Works with the team members on technical designs and the actual developments.


• Helps with test scenarios preparation, evaluates completeness and validity of the test scenarios. Conducts technical tests.

 Requirements:

• +2 years experience in the development of application software in corporate IS area - Essential


• Ability to learn and deal with customer requirements- Essential


• Knowledge of the SAP environment- Essential


• SAP ABAP experience- Essential


• Web technologies experience- Advantage

Experience:

• Working within a support environment- Essential


• Working in an international or multi-cultural environment- Desirable

Skills:Team player - Essential

• Advanced English - written and spoken - Desirable


• Strong analytical skills- Desirable


• German language- Advantage
