The role is responsible for managing a Prague based team to deliver an efficient and effective Accounts Payable end-to-end service of invoice processing, query management and the payment of supplier invoices and employee expenses.

This position is open to all EU citizens.
Knowledge of Czech language is not needed for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide control reports to the Director Accounting as required reviewing and reconciling the accounts payable ledger
- Manager in accordance to the SLA the supplier invoices and staff expense processing.
- Manage the supplier and employment expense payment process, ensuring only validated purchase invoices and expense reports are paid.
- Control the timely intervention and resolution of supplier questions
- Present to the Director Accounting as per the pre-agreed deadline the AP KPI's reporting. Monitor progress against target and manage any necessary corrective action
- Manage the team to provide information for internal and external audit as directed by line management
- Identify organizational and process efficiencies to reduce accounting costs.
- Set the tasks and activities for the team in line with the departmental objectives in order to meet or exceed business expectations.
- Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members in accordance with HR policy and procedures.

Required Experience & Skills
- University Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in AP environment
- Around 10 years work experience in an accounting/finance environment preferably within an international company
- Experience in managing a team (min 15 FTE)
- Professional accounting qualification (like ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment is an advantage
- Experience in coordinating the audit activities
- Proficiency in English
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of financial systems like Oracle, SUN or equivalent
