We have a great room for rent in one of the most beautiful squares in Prague (Lychkovo namesti)

The ROOM:

It is a big light white room with high ceilings and a W shaped solid wooden floor. The size is up and around 28 m2, and feels pretty big. Included is a double bed and two large wardrobes. The double windows face south, and because of these double windows and nearly one meter thick walls the room is quite warm (nice in winter, cool in summer). The view is on one of the most beautiful squares of the city; Lychovo Namesti.

The HOUSE:

The apartment is nearly 100 m2 big, on the third floor of a nice typical Prague Baroque building. Nice black and white floor tiles in the whole house and the marble sink in the bathroom gives it quite a posh feel. There is a bathtub in the bathroom, which is also the shower. There is a tiny elevator in the building which leads you to the third floor. The kitchen has all utilities needed, oven, new fridge and dishwasher. The other part of the kitchen is used as ultra lounge. The major attraction here is the wall of fame, composed by your other future flat mates.
There are two other large rooms on the front side of the house where we are living. Nice rooms and pretty much the same as the room that is for rent. There is one 32 year old Frenchman, and one 27 year old Dutchman living who both work.

We as flat mates are very easy going people and are preferably looking for one person, but we would allow a couple if you are double as cool of course. Preferably someone who also has a job, so the rhythm of the house is sort of synchronized. We appreciate cleanliness, and we like people who are social like us and preferably with us. We always have a lot of people around visiting us from all over the world so if you are not a social type; this is not your place. We are easy going and don´t mind a little party sometimes (we kind a like it in fact).

Location, location - LOCATION:

The neighborhood we live in is Karlin and in our opinion we obviously live in the best part of town. The house is exactly situated between two Metro stops (both 5 min walk) and there is a tram stop right outside the building where two lines are going (8 & 24) plus that there is a night tram stopping here as well (ideal!). By tram we are within 5 minutes at Namesti Republiky, or in three at Florenc. At 5 minutes walking there is an Albert, and around the corner there are numerous Vietnamese night-shops. One park in front of the house, one bigger one next to the house and there is a big hill in front of the building (the one with the man on the horse on it). There are not many really interesting pubs in our street -its not Vinohrady or Zizkov, we know that - but the city and everything is close by so no worries about that. We also know that this neighborhood has a bad name; however we never had any problems with it. And you can see it improving, a lot more shops restaurant etc are opening. In summer there is even a outdoor cinema in the park which is right around the corner.
