Hello everyone,

The Prague Playhouse is a production house for english-speaking audiences based in Prague since 2003.

The next big planned project is a production of the acclaimed musical Sweeney Todd, by Stephen Sondheim for June 2012. Now, we are on the planning stage and we are looking for musicians to form an orchestra which will play live during each performance. The instrumentation consists of:

-Clarinet
-Bassoon
-Trumpet
-Horn
-Violin
-Cello
-Bass
-Percussion (able to play xylophone, vibraphone, etc.)
-Piano

We would play the alternate orchestration version. The difficulty of the music is between moderate and high, but is really beautiful! So, if you play one of this instruments, and would be able to participate, please let me know and we can arrange an audition. The pianist would also be in charge to rehearse with the choir and the vocal director.
