Written by: Expats.cz

On Saturday, September 25th, we presented the 2010 Expat Expo, organized by Relocare, which took place at Průmyslový Palác in Výstaviště. Almost 4500 visitors attended the event, which featured 120 exhibitors from various trades, from hotels and restaurants, bookshops and jewelry merchants, to banks and relocation agencies.

Throughout the day, a stage program included a variety of family-friendly entertainment, including a children´s fashion show, balloon and magic shows, and a variety of performances from local schools. We organized popular seminars and workshops on topics such as wine tasting, sushi making, and laughter yoga, took place in separate rooms upstairs.

Entry to the event was free, as were raffle tickets; at the end of the day, over 150,000 CZK worth of prizes were given away, including a glass vase from Moser, and a ticket to the Mike Tyson European Tour 2010 Gala Dinner.

After the Expo, we transformed the upstairs rooms into ‘Business Unplugged,´ a business mixer party zone that catered to approximately 150 guests. Here, our sponsors provided food, drink, chocolate, music, and fantastic prizes - and even a fashion show. It was the perfect atmosphere to relax and have fun after a long day of networking.

Nice movie. However, I would hold off on the sushi shot....the sushi company (who ever it is) has an assitant preparing the food without hygenic gloves. Not very hygenic, even if it is only a 4 or 5 second shot.

I think relocare ate charging stall holders very high prices for stalls and expats promotes thus thus making lots of profit suppying info on things you should supply as an expat site in the first place. I guess you will not publish this view as it's bot saying " great - well done etc - but see.
